Great food and views nice and friendly staff & nice music and great value for money
Lovely independent cafe full of character with seating by the edge of the river. Currently under threat of closure to demolish and build a new expensive complex. If this happens it will very much diminish the character to of the Burnham riverside.
Delicious home cooked Sunday roast, all elements equally good, meat tender and moist, veg not over cooked, gravy tasty and home made. Well done chef!
Lovely good-sized vegan breakfast on request! Friendly staff and fair prices. The views are beautiful too. My dad and I will be back for our monthly breakfast meet up!
They have quite a bit of outside seating on the quay which is the place to be on a sunny day. Shame they don't clear up quickly enough after people leave. This place is friendly and unpretentious. A good white wine and bottled beer. We didn't eat. A swarm of dinghies raced around in the river below. As each contestant passed the invisible finishing line they were accompanied by the earsplitting roar of a horn almost directly above. No wonder there were so many empty tables covered in half finished food. We too beat a hasty retreat. Too much of that and you'd need therapy. I feel sorry for the staff. I recommend checking for dinghy races before ordering. Alternatively, ear plugs and tranquilizers.
